Olivia Brooks
Olivia Brooks is the Founder of Chronicles & Coffee. The company originated as a simple idea to join the writing and reading community on social media. Since September 2021, this idea has grown into an LLC business and works to provide a community in itself. From the Twitter page to Instagram, YouTube, and the podcast, Chronicles & Coffee is reaching out to all corners of the media to find the depths of the book industry.
Olivia believes the book industry has hundreds of thousands of unheard voices that must be discovered and vocalized. Chronicles & Coffee stimulates those voices and conducts meaningful, casual, yet effective conversation. Oliva is keen to highlight that it is a space to unify all types of writers, readers, authors, publishers, and editors.
The goal of Chronicles and Coffee is for the reader or listener to leave either feeling more comfortable in their skin as a creative, learn about a new book through the book reviews and chats, or hopefully leave entertained. The podcast allows the further ability to attain knowledge about this topic from a business that is on the rise.
Chronicles & Coffee hope you can learn something from this communal space, whether through discussing the experiences and chronicles of someone in the industry, education about genres or writing advice you may have never heard of.
Olivia is an undergraduate at Florida State University studying Editing, Writing, and Media with a minor in Communications. She is the editorial research assistant for the English Department and the Vice President of the Society of Collegiate Journalists.
Olivia Brooks is also a comic book editor at Submarine Treehouse.
In her free time, Olivia writes stories, both full-length and short fiction/fantasy, and is an avid reader! With two novels and a short story in the works, keep an eye out for published titles from Olivia soon.
