Joan Mulvihill

Joan is a Digitalisation & Sustainability Lead at Siemens and a Contemporary Landscape Artist. We discuss technology, life and art in this episode of The Global Discussion. She was the CEO of the Irish Internet Association, supporting over 350 IIA member companies and helping to drive policy development and lobbying to progress the industry on critical issues such as skills development, open data, cloud computing and industry standards. The IIA ran the annual industry awards, The NetVisionaries, and the digital inclusion campaign Digitise the Nation.

Joan is on the Executive Council of the Contemporary Irish Art Society and is a prior winner of the Business Woman of the Year Awards.

As an Artist, Joan takes inspiration from her location and abstracts form and colour from Ireland's trees, farms and landscapes.
