Che_u
Digital Illustrator and Artist
When I was a child, I liked to draw freely. My mother allowed me to experience many things for myself. Instead of an eraser, she gave me a new piece of paper and told me to draw freely. In addition, she told me to express my feelings in drawing by playing various genres of music, such as children's songs and classical music, on the radio. I was also able to experience materials that I had never encountered by participating in classes hosted by the art exhibition hall. I went to an art high school and experienced various arts such as Western painting, oriental painting, sculpture, and design.
Anna Jones
Author, Agricultural Journalist and Broadcaster, Just Farmers
Growing up on a traditional, upland, family-run beef and sheep farm on the English/Welsh border, journalism was not an obvious career path, but it was all I ever wanted to do from a young age. So, I skipped off to university at the age of 18, dreaming of concrete and skyscrapers, and never expected to look back. But to my great surprise, it turned out that the farming gene was strong in me.
Toby Haseler
Artist, TobyUrbansketch
As an urban sketching artist, I focus on sketching vibrant and loose drawings and paintings of scenes around me and close to my heart. I predominantly use watercolour and ink, but also a range of other traditional and digital media. I started this part of my life five years ago, searching for the creative spark I felt I had lost. Initially, I focussed on commissions and selling originals of my work and even produced brandings for coffee shops, bakeries and schools.
